POST 10:SOME REFLECTIONS...

 This year has been very difficult for me and I think for all of us, spending so many months in quarantine has been very exhausting for mental health. The most complicated thing this semester was the online mode, because it was very difficult for me to adapt to how the classes were developing and to do group work. I think the most critical moment of this year was this week , since I had many evaluations and since I stopped having face-to-face workshop, I had not spent a sleepless night to be able to fulfill everything. However not everything has been so bad,with all the free time I have had,I have learned to cook and make edits in Photoshop, something that makes me happy because for a long time  I had the desire to learn that, but had not had the opportunity to do so. Another very positive thing was meeting more people from the university, when we connected to do jobs we always talked about topics of our interest and I really enjoyed these conversations.  Finally,the most positive thin

POST 9: "YOUR FAVORITE BOOK"

I must admit that currently very few books attract my attention, most are related to architecture or great artists. However,when I was in high school, I loved reading sagas like: Hush Hush, Shadowhunters, The Hunger Games ,etc. It was my big hobby. I think I have very different tastes regarding books, I like those that deal with unsolved mysteries,science fiction, psychological and bibliographic stories. My favorite book is One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel García Márquez, it is a classic of world literature and is part of a magical realism.This tells the story of seven generations of the Buendía family, a family condemned to loneliness. I really liked this book because the characters are fascinating, very distintictive from each other and most of them very friendly .In addition ,the way to mix the times in which the events occur is another of its best characteristics. During the holidays I read two books by Pedro Lemebel and I really liked them, I don´t know if I could say

POST 8 : A SUBJECT YOU´VE ENJOYED STUDYING THIS SEMESTER

Although the circumstances of this semester have been a little complicated, due to the online mode and all the problems it has .I think my favorite subject has been the Culture of classical architecture. I like this subject because the teacher explains very well and is very willing to answer any questions we may have. Some topics that we have seen in this field are :the culture of Rome and Greece, the Middle Ages and the Renaissance. Although we have studied several subjects during this semester ,what I have liked most is the deepening that the professor has given to the topic of culture of Grecee and Rome, since it is a precedent for the art of projecting and our western influence. Another reason why I found this subject very interesting was because the teacher always tried to make the connection between the subject-matter and our contemporary reality. Besides ,the class had very complete powers points and good audiovisual material. In addition ,he always invited us to participate

POST 7: YOUR BUCKET LIST

I think my greatest wish today,like that of many,is for the coronavirus to end.My wishes for after the quarantine is over is to see my friends ,go to the beach and go out to take photos. Some wishes that I have are to be able to develop my artistic skills like learning new drawing and painting techniques,learning to play an instrument ,this has always been a great challenge for me,because I have not developed musical ability. Other things I would like to do at some point would be traveling ,doing extreme sports and learning to make clothes. I think one of my biggest dream is to get to know the Louvre Museum and St Peter's Basilica.I find that they are wonderful constructions,also I would love to see the works of art that they have inside. This dream is a little difficult to realize because I need a lot of money,something that I do not currently have,but I hope I can have it and I can achieve this wish . So far I have not fulfilled any of my wishes ,but I would like to be able

POST 6: CARRER-RELATED WEBSITE OR AN EXPERT ON YOUR FIELD

Hello ,today I am going to tell you about a website that I usually visit almost every week ,this one is called ArchDaily. This is the most visited architecture website in the world,it has an alliance with the Pritzker Architecture Prize and was one of five finalists for the best online magazine award at the Mashable's 2009 Open Web Awards. ArchDaily is a weblog that publishes works of architecture ,news, interviews,competitions,opinion columns,among others ,of interest to architects,urban planners and designers.The good thing about this page is that it is one you can make a free account,to register you only need the email and the password or you can also register through facebook. What I like about this website is that I can save and organize projects and articles that I like in folders,I can also follow the profiles of authors,architects ,photographers and people that interest me. Another reason I like this website is that I can stay up to date on major architectural projects

POST 5 :A PHOTOGRAPH YOU LIKE

I really like this photo ,I take it my younger brother ,I don´t exactly remember the date but it was in the spring of last year . In this photo I am with my sister,she and my brother are my best friends,that day I went to eat waffles with them and then we went to take photos. What I liked about this photo was the background ,because that place is very particular ,it is located in the República neighborhood but the architecture is very different from the one in the surroundings,most of the houses were white and the sector was very quiet, it was like not being in Santiago.I really liked the contrast generated by the white of the house so when I edited the photo I made it stand out. Another reason why I liked this photo is because reminds me of my brothers and how much fun we had together.

Post 4 : TV shows and series

Oh ! is very difficult choose a favorite series.I love to watch series ,it's my biggest hobby ,but I think if I had to choose one it would be The paper house. This series had been recommended to me a long time ago ,but it didn´t catch my attention,however after watching ten minutes I couldn't stop seeing her. I liked it too much because all the time I was left with the uncertainty that it would happen it was also to my liking ,because it had many actions scenes and the soundtrack was very good in all seasons. A series that I would like to see now is Dark or Black Mirror ,my friends have given me very good comments on those series. I feel like I've seen a lot of series ,but if I had to recommend a series it would be Peaky Blinders ,it's about a gangster gang who rises to become the kings of the working class.It is really very good ,it has several seasons but it is very worth seeing.
